The difference between the Mini-Facelift and Mid-Face Lift is the area they affect. A Mini-Facelift usually refers to a more limited procedure that mainly only addresses the jowls. However, a Mid-Facelift addresses the cheek tissues that are often the first part of the face to sag.

Incisions are usually made above or as close to the hairline as possible. Incisions near the ear may also be needed. The area selected for surgery will help hide the incisions.
